Hello, my name is Jacqueline and I founded Evanesce as a not-for-profit counselling service out of compassion for my community where I live and work, which underpins everything I do. I have a reputation for being compassionate, trustworthy and have a proven track record in ensuring your needs are met, regardless of the presenting issues, have a look at what previous clients have said. As a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist trained in mindfulness, I will listen with empathy, understanding and without judging the issues you bring and help you work out a way forward that is right for you. I hold a full PVG registration enabling me to work with young people and vulnerable adults. In addition, I have regular supervision as part of my counselling role, ensuring my practice is always ethical. My approach is very much collaborative and creative to meet your needs, whatever they might be. Over the decades, I have built up my understanding of human behaviour through research and numerous years working in the community, education, corporate, public and private settings. This has helped me to learn and develop my practice to incorporate new research, best practice and gain a wealth of experience that will benefit you.
