Welcome to Evanesce Counselling

A very warm welcome to Evanesce Counselling CIC, I would like to introduce you to my service. Evanesce is a not-for-profit counselling service based in Glasgow at the newly restored Maryhill Burgh Halls, just a 10 minute drive from the city centre and equally accessible by numerous public transport links. I provide personal, couple, family and group counselling, working with adolescents and adults. The counselling sessions can take many forms to suit your needs including, face to face, online or by telephone.

My aim is to promote and improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing by providing a service that helps relieve your suffering from mental distress. I want to empower you to take back control of your life and help build your resilience again to live in a more positive and meaningful way that is rewarding for you.

I believe that transformation doesn’t just  happen, we don’t simply wake up and become a butterfly…it takes a plan and a support system that I can provide in a safe place, were you can feel listened to and understood. When you are struggling to cope with the effects of difficult life events, feelings or experiences, it can be overwhelming. Sharing your experiences and feelings with someone outside your own immediate situation provides you with a chance to unburden and I am here to be that person for you. I have found that it is often the case by the time clients come to counselling for help they tend to feel their problems are serious, if not desperate. That is why I believe in making myself accessible by offering a service to you every day of the week from 9am to 9pm. I can quickly help you get to the core of the issue, help you understand what has created the problem and work with you find the most appropriate way forward that is right for you.
